The LilyPad Arduino 328 Main Board is a microcontroller, based on Arduino technology, specifically designed for integration into wearable projects and e-textiles. This lightweight, round board offers the same functionality as other Arduino boards but comes in a design that minimizes snagging and profile. It features large, sewable tabs that can be connected using conductive thread.The board is built around an ATmega328 with the Arduino bootloader, with a minimal number of external components, keeping it small and simple. It operates from 2V to 5V and features large pin-out holes for easy sewing and connection. Each pin, except for (+) and (-), can control an attached input or output device, such as a light, motor, or switch.The LilyPad technology, developed by Leah Buechley and SparkFun, is a unique solution for wearable e-textile applications. The boards feature large connecting pads for easy sewing into clothing.
