SparkFun Qwiic Dual Solid State Relay

The SparkFun Qwiic Dual Solid State Relay is a highly efficient power delivery board that enables users to control two AC loads from a low power microcontroller through the SparkFun Qwiic connect system. It comes with two 25A/250VAC solid state relays that use the Zero Cross Trigger method, allowing you to switch two loads on a 60Hz AC carrier signal on and off up to 120 times per second. The SparkFun Qwiic Dual Solid State Relay is powered by an ATTiny84, which accepts I2C commands to toggle the two relays and execute several other special commands. The I2C address of the ATtiny84A is software configurable, which means you can daisy chain over 100 Qwiic Dual Solid State Relays for a large-scale power project.Although the SparkFun Qwiic Dual Solid State Relay comes with several safety features such as ground isolation between the relay and other circuitry and a milled out area isolating each side of AC, it's important to note that handling high voltage can be dangerous. Therefore, this product is recommended for users who are experienced and knowledgeable about high AC voltage.It's important to note that the relays are rated for a maximum of 25A with forced air cooling. Without forced air cooling, a maximum of 10A through the relays is recommended.The SparkFun Qwiic connect system is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields and cables designed to make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector, reducing the amount of required PCB space. Plus, the polarized connections mean you can’t hook it up wrong.Features:
