The XBee3 Thing Plus is an advanced, yet user-friendly solution for wireless device development. It combines the power of XBee and Qwiic in a compact design, making it an essential upgrade for XBee users. With 20 I/O pins and Lithium-Polymer Ion battery management, it becomes an ideal choice for the rapid prototyping or development of connected devices such as remote sensors. The Qwiic connector and JST connector for the battery provide a solder-less option, significantly reducing the setup time. The XBee3 Micro Module further enhances the functionality of the XBee3 Thing Plus. It offers a classic 802.15.4 2.4GHz wireless connection (Zigbee 3.0 Protocol) with an added advantage of being programmable with MicroPython (32KB of memory available for it). It supports RF data rates up to 250Kbps and offers an indoor range up to 60 meters and up to 1200 meters line-of-sight outdoor range. The module can be configured via an AT Command set or the Digi API, X-CTU, both locally or over-the-air. It also supports the mobile version of X-CTU, known as Digi XBee® Mobile.Please note that this model uses a chip antenna and does not support external antennas.The XBee3 Thing Plus offers several unique features such as:
