The SparkFun Motor Driver - Dual TB6612FNG (1A) is a compact, yet powerful board capable of controlling two DC motors with a constant current of 1.2A, peaking at 3.2A. It offers four function modes: clockwise, counterclockwise, short-brake, and stop, all of which can be individually controlled for each motor. The speed of the motors is managed via a PWM input signal with a frequency of up to 100kHz. To activate the motor, simply pull the STBY pin high to bring it out of standby mode.The logic supply voltage (VCC) can range between 2.7 and 5.5VDC, while the motor supply (VM) has a maximum voltage of 15VDC. The output current can reach up to 1.2A per channel, or up to 3.2A for a brief, single pulse. The board is equipped with all necessary components, including decoupling capacitors on both supply lines.
