SparkFun Digital Temperature Sensor - TMP102 (Qwiic)

The SparkFun TMP102 Digital Temperature Sensor is a user-friendly device that provides precise temperature readings. The sensor utilizes the I²C bus of the Arduino for temperature communication, making it a convenient tool for various applications. The SparkFun TMP102 is an upgrade from the original Digital Temperature Sensor Breakout - TMP102, with the addition of Qwiic connectors for seamless integration into the Qwiic Ecosystem. An address jumper has also been added, replacing the need for breaking out the address pin. Yet, for those who prefer using a breadboard, 2.54mm-spaced pins are still available.The TMP102 is a digital temperature sensor from Texas Instruments that offers a resolution of 0.0625°C and an accuracy of up to 0.5°C. It features built-in 4.7kΩ pull-up resistors for I²C communications and operates from 1.4V to 3.6V. With open drain signaling, there's no need for level shifting in I²C communication.The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem designed to make prototyping faster and less prone to error. It includes I²C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables, all using a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector. This system not only reduces the required PCB space but also ensures correct connections with its polarized design.The SparkFun TMP102 Digital Temperature Sensor offers several unique features. It uses the I²C interface and supports up to four TMP102 sensors on the I²C bus at a time. The sensor operates at 3.3V and has a typical temperature accuracy of ±0.5°C. It provides a 12-bit, 0.0625°C resolution and comes with two Qwiic Connectors.
