SparkFun Qwiic Haptic Driver - DA7280

The SparkFun Qwiic Haptic Driver combines a Linear Resonant Actuator (LRA) vibration motor and Dialog Semiconductor's DA7280 motor driver IC, making it perfect for applications that require haptic feedback. Control of the vibration motor can be achieved through the DA7280 using I²C, PWM, or a mix of three general purpose input pins. Thanks to the Qwiic system, no soldering is required to connect it to the rest of your setup. However, 2.54mm-spaced PTH pads are included for those who prefer to use a breadboard for accessing the driver's I²C, power, interrupt, and general purpose input pins.The Qwiic Haptic Driver is ideal for projects that need a physical indicator when an event occurs. For example, it can be integrated into a remote control to provide feedback when a robot encounters an obstacle. Paired with an accelerometer, it can serve as a reminder to maintain correct posture. When combined with a distance sensor, it can alert you to movement in your vicinity.
