The MyoWare 2.0 Reference Cable - 10 pack is an essential accessory for the MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor. These cables are designed to extend the sensor's reference pin, enabling it to reach nonadjacent muscles or bony parts of the body. The process is simple: insert the pin into its housing, attach a biomedical sensor pad to the electrode snap, and stick the snap pin to the desired section of the body.It is important to note that the reference electrode socket remains active even with the cable inserted. Users can disable the socket by cutting the jumper trace on the sensor's top side. To re-enable the socket, they can short the jumper pads with solder. Please note that the MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor, Power Shield, and EMG pads are not included in the 10 pack and need to be purchased separately.The MyoWare 2.0 ecosystem, which includes these reference cables, is an innovative, low-cost solution for electromyography (EMG). It's an all-in-one sensor from Advancer Technologies that is compatible with Arduino. The system's unique connector allows for easy shield snapping, creating a compact, low-profile setup that can be connected to a microcontroller's analog input.
