The DFRduino Uno V3.0 from DFRobot is a compact computing board designed for academic or developmental purposes. It is a straightforward microcontroller board that is fully compatible with both the Arduino UNO R3 and the open-source Arduino IDE development environment. This IDE utilizes the Processing/Wiring language and allows for the development of standalone interactive objects or integration with computer software like Flash, Processing, or MaxMSP. The open-source IDE is available for free download and is compatible with Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux.This board is equipped with an ATmega16U2 chip, programmed as a USB-to-serial converter. A unique feature of our DFRduino is that it uses a DIP package AVR Chip, which can be removed for firmware updates or reprogramming. The board's headers are color-coded:
* Red for the Power Section * Blue for Analog I/O * Green for Digital I/O These colors correspond with our sensor cables, simplifying sensor connections and making it easy to distinguish between Analog (blue) and Digital (green) sides.Arduino UnoThe "Arduino Uno" is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328 chip. It features 14 digital input/output pins, six of which can be used as PWM outputs, six analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB port, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. The board comes with everything needed to operate the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer via a USB cable or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery.Additional features include SDA and SCL pins located near the AREF pin and two new pins near the RESET pin: the IOREF, which allows shields to adapt to the board's voltage, and a second unconnected pin reserved for future use.Note: This package includes the DFRduino UNO R3, Gravity: IO Expansion Shield, and a USB Cable A-B.Specifications:
