The antenna is specifically designed without an enclosure, reducing its weight to a mere 45g including the cable, making it perfect for rover and quad-copter applications.This antenna excels in conjunction with the GPS-RTK, capable of receiving signals from Beidou satellites, which other basic GPS antennas may struggle with. Its cable length has been shortened to 1m, further reducing weight and facilitating a cleaner installation. The Sparkfun GPS/GNSS Embedded Antenna is particularly recommended for RTK use when paired with the ground plate.
