Aeotec Z-Wave Door Window Sensor 7

The Aeotec Door Window Sensor 7 is a compact Z-Wave sensor which detects if a window or door is opened or closed. Thanks to its slim design, the sensor can be installed inconspicuously on windows and doors and requires no drilling or other permanent changes (unless you want to!). One part of the sensor attaches to your window/door and the other part attaches to the frame. When the two are separated, the sensor knows that the door/window has been opened and can be used as a trigger in your home automation system. Compatible with a range of home automation systems, including Home Assistant once paired with a Z-Wave hub such as the Aeotec Z-Pi-7. The sensor features Z-Wave Plus V2, S2 wireless security and SmartStart installation. The sensor can last for up to 3 years on its single CR14250 3V lithium battery, which is included in the package along with double-sided tape for easy installation, and screws for a more permanent setup.
