The Mini2Plus V2 is a versatile smartphone thermal imaging camera with manual focus designed for home inspections and troubleshooting HVAC issues. It offers high thermal resolution, SuperIR image enhancement, and accurate temperature measurements. It is compatible with iOS and Android devices and is a practical and reliable tool for thermal imaging.

Thanks to its extremely compact dimensions of just 26.6 x 26.6 x 25 mm and a weight of 24 g, the Mini2Plus is particularly portable and user-friendly. In addition, the Mini2Plus is always ready for use and does not require its own battery, as it is powered directly by the connected Android smartphone or tablet and is designed to consume very little power, thereby optimizing your mobile device’s battery life and ensuring it is always ready for use.

It features a manual-focus lens for viewing at various distances ranging from 7 cm to 10 m. You can view small objects, such as electronic components as small as 0.5 mm, or objects at greater distances, such as electrical or mechanical devices that require a safe viewing distance. The Mini2Plus, with its manual-focus lens, is capable of providing stable, detailed views of objects as small as 340 micrometers when used with a separately available tabletop mount.

The HIKMICRO Mini2Plus thermal module features a highly sensitive (NETD < 40 mK) VOx detector with a resolution of 256 x 192 (49,152) pixels and optimized image enhancement algorithms that deliver clear thermal images.

The Mini2Plus can measure temperatures ranging from -20°C (-4°F) to 350°C (662°F) with an accuracy of up to ±2°C (±3.6°F) / ±2%. Audible and visual alarms trigger an immediate notification when the temperature exceeds the preset threshold.

The IR resolution of 256 x 192 pixels and thermal sensitivity of less than 0.04 °C enable excellent image quality. This high resolution and sensitivity make it easier to detect heat loss or heat buildup that would otherwise be invisible. With a frame rate of 25 Hz, the camera provides smooth playback when scanning an area or viewing moving objects, enabling continuous analysis.

The free app offers an intuitive user interface and advanced temperature measurement and analysis features. These include an infrared or fusion image mode, 15 color palettes for various use cases, 9 measurement ranges for detailed analysis, and the ability to share images, enabling efficient communication and documentation of results.

The aluminum housing is IP40-certified and can withstand drop tests from a height of up to 1 meter.

A 40-cm extension cable connects your device to the camera, allowing for inspection through narrow, confined spaces or hard-to-reach areas. The included protective case is designed to store the camera and protect it from scratches.
