The CE840 USB True 4K HDMI HDBaseT 3.0 KVM Extender utilizes the latest HDBaseT 3.0 technology and consists of a local unit and a remote unit that enables uncompressed True 4K HDMI, audio, RS232, Ethernet and USB signal transmission over 100m via a single Cat 6A cable (ATEN 2L-2920 Cat 6A cable recommended) or more. Installation is simple, clear and cost effective, without compromising on high quality AV content distribution. The CE840 allows dual console operation via the two USB ports for USB keyboard and mouse connection and the push buttons to switch the USB control console between the remote and local ends. LEDs on the front indicate which USB control mode is currently active. In addition, each device has an HDMI output for local control and two USB 2.0 ports for connecting USB peripherals. This allows operators to capture data and manage the devices in one place, even remotely.
