An fascinating glass ultrasonic delay line as used in PAL video tape systems & PAL TV systems.

All of which has now gone the way of the Dodo thanks to digital systems now making analog redundant.

But who cares, still a great item for the collector or experimenter. Easily opened intact, showing two transducers that ping a signal back and forth around a glass plate many times, like pinball... yes there are bumpers printed on the surface of the plate... this stuff is weird science !
