The NXP FRDM-K22F is an ultra-low-cost development platform for Kinetis® K22 MCUs.

* Form factor compatible with the Arduino® Rev3 pin layout.

* Peripherals enable rapid prototyping, including a 6-axis digital accelerometer and magnetometer to create full e-compass capabilities, a tri-colored LED and 2 user push-buttons for direct interaction, and connectivity for use with Bluetooth® and 2.4 GHz radio add-on modules.

* OpenSDAv2 offers options for serial communication, flash programming and run-control debugging.

* The FRDM-K22F is enabled by the Arm® Mbed™ OS platform and supported by Zephyr OS, for developing the Internet of Things with a free, open source operating system

* The latest FRDM-K22F revision excludes the FXOS8700CQ (U8) digital motion sensor, as it is no longer advised for new designs. SDK examples are compatible with all board revisions.
