RJ11/RJ12 Breakout - Horizontal

This is our compact horizontal RJ11/RJ12 breakout, designed to allow you to use the six lines within RJ11 or RJ12 cables for your projects, with the flexibility to solder wires, headers and more, alongside M2.5 mounting options and underside soldering pads! Each pin from the RJ11/RJ12 connector is broken out to clearly labelled 2.54mm-spaced pads. RJ11 and RJ12 connectors are interchangeable, with RJ11 typically using 2-4 of the conductors, and RJ12 using all 6. We've broken out all six conductors so that you can use this with either (and it will work with RJ14 and RJ25 too!). You can solder whatever you like to these pads, such as the included 6-pin 2.54mm header strip (great for breadboard usage), some prototyping wire, or even a 6-way 2.54mm terminal block. Super-handy for breaking out RJ11/12 cables from weather meters such as wind sensors, rain gauges, probes and more. If you're soldering wires, consider using the underside solder pads. We added these because we know just how tricky it is to de-solder and re-solder a wire from a pad hole. With the underside pads, it's much easier to rework and reuse.
