SparkFun Ambient Light Sensor - VEML7700 (Qwiic)

The SparkFun Qwiic VEML7700 Ambient Light Sensor provides 16-bit readings from 0–167,000 lux via I2C, featuring a high-sensitivity photodiode, low-noise amplifier, dual Qwiic connectors, and a 0.1" PTH header for versatile connections.

The SparkFun Qwiic VEML7700 Ambient Light Sensor provides accurate, 16-bit ambient light readings from 0 to 167,000 lux via the I2C interface. This miniature sensor (6.8mm x 3.0mm x 2.5mm) features a high-sensitivity photodiode, a low-noise amplifier, and a 16-bit analog-to-digital (A/D) converter. Its unshifted 7-bit I2C address is 0x10. This Qwiic breakout board routes power (VDD/GND) and I2C signals (SDA/SCL) to two Qwiic connectors, plus a 0.1in.-spaced PTH header for both solderless and soldered applications. We offer an Arduino Library and Python package to quickly convert raw sensor data into lux, with automatic compensation for gain and integration time. Features & Specifications
