This series of IR receivers is optimised for long-burst remote control systems in a variety of environments. The customer can choose between different IC settings (AGC variants) to find the optimal solution for their application. The higher the AGC, the better the noise is suppressed, but the lower the code compatibility. The devices contain a PIN diode and a preamplifier mounted on a lead frame.
