The FRITZ!Smart Energy 250 is a sensor that reads the consumption data from the digital electricity meter and transmits it to the FRITZ! smart home of the FRITZ!Box via DECT. The FRITZ!Smart Energy 250 can be attached to the digital electricity meter using a magnet. Users can monitor and evaluate the data via FRITZ!OS, the FRITZ!App Smart Home or via the energy display in the free MyFRITZ!Net service and thus optimize energy consumption.

Reading digital electricity meters The FRITZ!Smart Energy 250 is magnetically attached to the INFO interface (infrared interface) of the digital electricity meter. Power is supplied via batteries or the USB port. FRITZ!Smart Energy 250 is compatible with most digital electricity meters installed in Germany.
