For microcontrollers that lack an analog-to-digital converter or when higher precision is required, the ADS1115 offers 16-bit accuracy at 860 samples per second over I2C. Configure it for four single-ended input channels or two differential channels. It includes a programmable gain amplifier up to x16 to enhance smaller signals to their full range.Operational from 2V to 5V power/logic, it measures a broad range of signals, emphasizing its versatility and ease of use. The compact chip is mounted on a breakout board with ferrites to stabilize AVDD and AGND, interfacing via I2C. The address is adjustable to four options, allowing up to four ADS1115 units on a single 2-wire I2C bus for 16 single-ended inputs.The breakout includes a 0.1" standard header for breadboard or perfboard use, with four mounting holes for easy attachment.
