Adafruit Rugged Metal On/Off Switch with Red LED Ring

These chrome-plated metal buttons combine robust design with aesthetic appeal. Easily installed by drilling a 16mm hole into materials up to 1/2" thick, they come with a rubber gasket for water resistance.Featuring a flat metal actuator with a vibrant red plastic LED ring, the back includes 3 contacts for the button's functions—common, normally-open, and normally-closed—and 2 for powering the LED ring. The LED lights up beautifully with 3 to 6V, thanks to an integrated resistor. For higher voltages like 12V or 24V, adding a 470-ohm resistor keeps your circuit safe.The button functions as an on/off switch, latching when pressed and resetting with another press.
