Rated at a 500mA output, this cable also supports higher current draws; it has been tested with up to 700mA with minimal voltage droop. However, continual operation at 700mA is not recommended.Efficiency metrics include 83% efficiency at 150mA draw and 86% efficiency at 200mA draw, with an overall efficiency averaging around 85% at low currents, decreasing to about 80% at higher currents. The cable also features a low quiescent current of 3mA. Additionally, be wary of potential USB port voltage droop and resistivity issues in low-quality cables.
