Adafruit TFP401 HDMI/DVI Decoder to 40-Pin TTL Breakout - Without Touch

A compact, versatile mini HDMI decoder board effortlessly drives TTL displays or decodes HDMI/DVI video for diverse projects. Featuring the robust TFP401 chip, it decodes up to 1080p resolutions, outputting 24-bit color data. HDCP is not supported.The board is perfect for use with 800x480 displays and permits power and video delivery via USB and HDMI. For example, when paired with a 5" display, it draws 500mA; backlight control can adjust this to 370mA or 250mA by dimming or switching off.Additional features include a PWM input for backlight control and a default EDID set to 800x480, modifiable with an Arduino. The small form factor makes it excellent for compact installations, ideal for connecting to Raspberry Pi or BeagleBone Black. Note: Displays are not included; suggested options are 5" or 7" without touch.
