Adafruit Mini Skinny NeoPixel Digital RGB LED Strip 1m

So thin. So mini. So teeeeeeny-tiny. It's like the child-sized version of our classic NeoPixel strips! These NeoPixel strips have 60 digitally-addressable pixel Mini LEDs per meter. The strips are very affordable and only 7.5 mm wide, 5 mm if you remove the strip from the casing. This is the strip with a white flex PCB, identical to the black one except for a different color mask.These LEDs use about 9.5 Watts max (~2 Amps @ 5V) per meter. The max rating assumes all the LEDs are on full white; typically, the actual current for colorful designs is less. A reliable power supply such as our 5V 2A, 5V 4A, or 5V 10A supply is essential. The controller chip is inside the LED, using a single pin each for input and output. The strip is controlled via a timing-specific protocol suitable for microcontrollers with repeatable 100nS timing precision. We provide example code for Arduino Uno/Mega microcontrollers and support for Raspberry Pi or BeagleBone Black.Individually control each of the 60 RGB LEDs per meter with 8-bit PWM precision, offering 24-bit color per pixel. A single digital output pin is required to send data, with PWM built into each LED-chip. The strip and its weatherproof sheathing are made of flexible PCB material, easily cut with wire cutters at cut-lines every 0.66"/17mm. Solder to the 0.1" copper pads to connect the strips or extend them as needed. Our 5V/2A supply can drive 1 meter, and a 5V/10A supply can handle up to 10 meters, depending on use.These strips come in 4-meter reels with 2 or 3-pin JST SM connectors. They are sold by the meter; buying full reels results in two connectors. For wiring, pick up JST SM plug and receptacle cables, and for power, a 2.1mm DC jack to connect wall adapters.
