This LED Ring Light is a versatile illumination tool perfect for various applications beyond its original design for microscope use. The entire ring can be dimmed using a PWM power signal but does not support individual LED control. For those interested in DIY projects, 2.1mm male DC plugs facilitate connections. The original dimmer was integrated into the wall adapter, making it less portable-friendly; however, a simple setup with a microcontroller and an N-MOSFET can offer adequate dimming control.The ring's design incorporates three 'set screw' attachment points, typically used for securing it to a lens or cowl.
