Schneider Electric's SpaceLogic KNX Secure 8-way Basic button interface enables a physical contact to be converted into a KNX signal. 8 independent channels are available in the ETS, which can be defined as inputs or outputs. Common reference potential for all channels, with a cable length of 10 m. It is possible to lock individual channels. Connection of floating contacts, such as buttons, switches or Reed contacts. Operating functions: Switching, dimming, blind, scene or room temperature control. Valuator device for dimming, colour temperature, RGBW, temperature or brightness values. Transmission of the current input status after a bus voltage failure. Outputs: Connection of low current LEDs (up to 1.6 mA). Short-circuit proof, overload-protected and reverse-polarity-proof. Outputs can be connected in parallel for loads with higher current requirements. Supply via KNX bus, no additional supply voltage required. KNX Data Secure. Output voltage: DC 3.3 V SELV. Output current per channel: max. 3.3 mA. LED current (red LED with 1.7 V flux voltage): 1.6 mA per output. Connection channels: 2x 5-core cable set. Length of cable set: 25 cm, can be extended to max. 10 m. Recommended cable: J-Y(St)Y 2x2x0.8 rated voltage: KNX DC 21-32 V SELV. Current consumption KNX: 4 - 12 mA.
