What is heat transfer vinyl Heat transfer vinyl (HTV or ironing film) is made of PET, PU/PVC and hot glue. It can be easily cut to size using your LOKLiK iCraft™, Crafter, Cricut or Silhouette cutting machine. When heated with a heat press, the vinyl melts and transfers your design onto your chosen fabric. It works beautifully on a variety of materials such as cotton, polyester and cotton/poly blends, making it a versatile go-to for all your creative projects like T-shirts, totes, pillows and much more.
