Adafruit USB Type C Screw Panel Mount to 6 pin JST PH Cable

This panel mount cable offers seamless USB Type C connections for panel-mount setups. It features a USB C connector on the mount side, with power, ground, D+ / D-, and CC1/CC2 lines on the opposite end. The compact mount side, only half an inch in diameter, saves space while ensuring reliable integration.The opposite end is equipped with a JST PH cable for quick and easy integration. The adapter fits holes ranging from 11 mm to ~13.5 mm, accommodating common drill bits. Installation is straightforward—unscrew the plastic nut, insert the plug, and re-attach to secure the USB C port to panels up to 7 mm thick.For optimal functionality, keep in mind that the CC pins are exposed but not connected. Add 5.1K pull-down resistors for each pin for a standard 5V 2A connection, or pair with USB PD-capable devices to negotiate higher voltages. A removable cap is included to protect the USB-C port from dirt and grime, maintaining operation integrity.
