9070442 Actuator, 24 V

Precise control, easy installation, and quiet operation-Theben’s ALPHA 5 24 V is the ideal solution for modern heating systems with low-voltage power supplies in new construction and renovation projects.

The Theben ALPHA 5 24 V is a thermoelectric actuator for radiators, heating circuit manifolds, and systems for individual room or room temperature control. With its operating voltage of 24 V AC/DC, it is particularly well-suited for use in heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems with low-voltage control.

The integrated “First-Open" function makes initial installation and heating system commissioning particularly easy, as the valve remains open during the initial phase. The compact design (44 × 60 × 61 mm) and flexible installation orientation-vertical, horizontal, or upside down-offer maximum freedom during installation, even in tight spaces.

With an actuating force of 100 N and a stroke of 4 mm, the ALPHA 5 24 V ensures precise valve control. It is controlled via a room temperature controller with a two-point output or a PWM signal. The low inrush current (<550 mA for max. 100 ms) and a standby power consumption of only approx. 1 W.

Particularly convenient for electricians: The simple plug-in installation on standard valve adapters (not included) saves time and reduces installation effort. Surge protection and complete protection against drive damage caused by leaky valves ensure additional operational safety. The IP54 protection rating allows for use even in demanding environments.

Users praise the reliable, maintenance-free, and virtually silent operation of this valve actuator. Those who need a version for 230 V line voltage should choose the model with part number 9070441-the ALPHA 5 230 V.
