The USB 2.0 isolator provides galvanic isolation to protect the PC and device. With 3000V DC isolation, it protects against ground loops and voltage peaks. It supports data rates of up to 12 Mbps, requires no drivers and is powered by the USB bus. An optional external power supply (2724-PSU) is available for devices with higher power consumption (>250mA).
