5926 Surface seal, silicone paste, 40 ml

This one-part, blue silicone paste is used to replace or repair gaskets on water pumps and thermostats. LOCTITE® SI 5926 is a blue, acetoxy silicone paste for gasket replacement or repair. Typical applications include valve covers, timing covers, differential covers, oil pans, transmission oil pans, water pumps and thermostat housings. LOCTITE® SI 5926 cures when exposed to humidity in the air and forms a flexible silicone seal. Its elastic properties improve the load-bearing capacity and the shock-absorbing properties of the bond area. The product is resistant to ageing, weathering and temperature cycling without becoming brittle, tearing or shrinking.
