The Digital Devices G.HN combiner has been specially developed for the efficient use of coaxial star cabling that is no longer required. It makes it possible to convert former SAT or DVB-C lines for modern Ethernet-over-Coax (EOC) networks of the EOC1000/2000 products and offers decisive advantages over conventional splitters. While a standard splitter splits the signal and causes bandwidth losses, the G.HN combiner ensures that the coaxial lines and the network signal are merged evenly, allowing greater bandwidth utilization.

A connected EOC1000/2000 socket with power supply unit can supply power to other EOC sockets in the network, so that other EOC sockets do not require a power supply unit despite star distribution.
