TLE8880TN2 regulates 12V automotive multi-phase alternators with a rotating field winding

The TLE8880TN2 is a monolithic regulator for closed-loop voltage control in 12V automotive multi-phase alternators. It communicates with Engine-Management or Energy-Management ECUs through a LIN interface, regulating battery voltage precisely between 10.6V and 16V. It operates without a communication interface using adjustable parameters, compliant with the VDA LIN Alternator Regulator specification.
