IC Puller tool

OK, so you can buy a basic IC remover from ebay for a few pounds, or you can buy a high tech all dancing remover from a specialist for the best part of £100.

This tool falls somewhere in the middle, in that it does everything the high end tool does but at a fraction of the cost.

Originally bought for our own use, it soon became apparent that we should be selling these, but at a price that is affordable.

Dont be put off by the complexity, as it is very simple to use. The adjusting knob simply sets the distance from the PCB (where the tool rests) to the underneath of the IC. (where the jaws grab)

insert the jaws through the IC pins, then squeeze the blue handles together to remove the IC.

then squeeze the lower metal handles to release the IC. No bent pins, superb job every time.

Can be used on DIP (14 pin upwards - all widths) , PLCC and PGA type chips.

****not suitable for DIP6 or DIP8***
