Wirewin® outdoor patch cables of Category 6a correspond to the values according to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2. This enables data transmission of 10 GBit/s. Category 6a is specified at 500 MHz. The cable is double-shielded. Each pair has its own foil shielding and a braided shielding on top.

This construction is often referred to as PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) or S/FTP. The jacket of these cables is made of flexible and UV-resistant PUR material and offers protection against weather, moisture and mechanical stress.
