Illuminance measurement is a key component in efficient building automation, productive agriculture and safe industrial processes. To better meet these requirements, the B+B brightness sensor with measuring transducer offers an all-in-one solution. Instead of having to define a measuring range in advance, the new version allows the user complete flexibility.

Three practical measuring ranges can be set directly on the device using DIP switches: 0 ... 1000 lux, 0 ... 10,000 lux and 0 ... 100,000 lux. Besides the 0 ... 10-V output voltage, a 0 ... 5-V output voltage is also available upon request. In addition, the output voltage can be inverted, which is particularly useful when using LED controllers or dimmers.
