The Microchip 93C56C is a serial 2-KB Microwire (3-wire) EEPROM with hardware-selectable word size via the ORG pin and an operating voltage range of 4.5 - 5.5 V. Also available are the 93C56A for a special 8-bit memory organisation and the 93C56B for a special 16-bit memory organisation. The 93C56C is optimised for use in consumer, industrial and automotive applications where a reliable and dependable non-volatile storage option is required.
