The Delfa Systems' I²C strain and position sensor enables precise detection of movement, strain, angles or surface deformations - ideal for development, laboratory and prototyping applications. The capacitive measuring principle ensures high accuracy and repeatability, while the integrated temperature sensor provides additional ambient data. All measured values can be conveniently read out via the I²C interface with high temporal resolution. Thanks to fully digital integration, no additional electronics are required. The sensor can be easily connected to Arduino, Raspberry Pi, microcontrollers or a PC. An integrated LED provides visual indication of strain by changing its colour depending on the measured value. If a threshold value is exceeded, the LED starts to flash. This function is user-configurable and ideal for fast visual feedback in development or test environments.
