HERNON 746 is a two-component adhesive with excellent thermal conductivity and a very short curing time.

It provides an effective thermal bond between electronic components and heat sinks. The material has exceptional adhesion properties - eliminating the need for mechanical fastening.

The adhesive consists of a paste-like adhesive 746 and a liquid activator EF37173. The components are not mixed. It is sufficient to apply a small amount of the adhesive to one of the surfaces to be bonded and brush the activator onto the other bonding surface. Joining is done by pressing. Correction is possible within 15-30 seconds. The bond is hand-tight after 5 minutes at room temperature and hardens completely within 24 hours.

Application instructions: Apply HERNON 746 adhesive sparingly to a bonding surface. Apply a thin coat of HERNON EF37173 Activator to the entire surface of the other adhesive area. Join parts by gently turning them back and forth and press firmly for a few seconds. The ideal processing temperature is 20 ... 28°C. The position of the parts can still be corrected within 15-30 seconds. After 5 minutes resting time about 70% and after 24 hours 100% of the final strength of the bonded joint is reached. is achieved. Excess adhesive that has escaped from the side edges can be easily removed.
