FRDM i.MX 95 Pro: Wi‑Fi 6 Tri‑Radio and Dual M.2 Expansion Development Board for Edge AI Applications

The FRDM i.MX 95 Pro development board evaluates the i.MX 95 Applications

Processor in a compact 19 mm × 19 mm package. The board integrates six Arm® Cortex®-A55 cores, one Arm® Cortex®-M7 core and one Arm® Cortex®-M33 core, together with the eIQ® Neutron Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for edge AI acceleration. Onboard Wi-Fi 6 Tri-Radio IW612 connectivity delivers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and 802.15.4, while a 10-Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) connector and two GbE ports support high-speed industrial networking. Two M.2 Key-M connectors accept Ara240 discrete NPU (DNPU) modules or SSD expansion, and 16 GB LPDDR5 memory with rich display and camera interfaces supports demanding multimedia workloads. The GoPoint demo interface simplifies exploring key use cases across advanced human machine interface (HMI), industrial networking, robotics, edge gateways and vision processing.
