SparkFun Thumb Joystick Breakout

If you are picking up a Thumb Joystick, you will need this breakout board! While the joystick itself is fantastic, its pin spacing is not standard, making it difficult to plug into a breadboard or solder to a perfboard. This breakout board solves that problem instantly. Breadboard Ready We have routed all the joysticks' connections—VCC, GND, Horizontal, Vertical, and the Select Button—out to a standard 0.1" pitch header. This makes it incredibly easy to connect to an Arduino or other microcontroller using standard jumper wires or breadboards.

Mounting Made Easy Building a custom controller? We’ve included four mounting holes (one in each corner) to securely attach the joystick assembly to a panel, enclosure, or robot chassis.
