Raspberry Pi Model A+ Computer Board

The Raspberry Pi Model A+ is a credit-card-sized computer board that is ready for use as soon as a keyboard, mouse, display, power supply, and a microSD card with the operating system installed are connected. It is an ARM-based miniature PC capable of running many of the applications that typically require a desktop PC, such as spreadsheets, word processing, and games. It also plays HD videos. The Raspberry Pi Model A+ is an open-source product designed to be supported by online user forums.

The new Raspberry Pi A+ is the successor to the Raspberry Pi A and features the following improvements:

- More I/O. A new 40-pin I/O header replaces the 26-pin I/O header. The first 26 pins are assigned identically to the Pi A, B, or B+, ensuring compatibility with existing accessories. - MicroSD card slot replaces standard SD card - Switching regulator instead of a linear regulator. - Better audio quality - The RCA composite video (FBAS) connector has been removed and replaced by the 3.5 mm audio jack - The board is approximately 2 cm shorter
