NH-D9L Noctua NH-D9L CPU cooler

The NH-D9L is a premium double-tower radiator that offers excellent silent cooling performance at a total height of only 110mm. The comparatively low overall height (15mm less than the classic 9cm coolers like the NH-U9S) not only guarantees full 3U compatibility, but also makes the NH-D9L an ideal solution for compact HTPC and small form factor housings, in which the airflow runs parallel to the mainboard. Thanks to its footprint of 95x95mm, the NH-D9L does not hang over memory banks or PCIe slots on all Intel and most AMD-based ITX boards. The supplied NF-A9 Premium fan provides excellent running smoothness, the speed of which can be controlled fully automatically via PWM. With a second, optionally available NF-A9 fan, the cooling performance in double-fan operation can be further improved. Low-profile tower cooler for better airflow efficiency While most low-profile coolers have airflow directed toward the motherboard, the NH-D9L is a tower cooler with airflow parallel to the motherboard. This enables better airflow efficiency in common housings with front and/or rear fans.

3U Compatibility While classic 9cm coolers with up to 125mm height can usually only be installed in 4U housings, the NH-D9L with its reduced height to 110mm also fits in 3U housings and is therefore ideal for noise-sensitive 3U applications such as audio or video processing.

100% RAM compatibility With a footprint of 95x95mm, the NH-D9L does not hang over the RAM slots on current Intel and most AMD boards. This ensures not only easy access to the memory modules, but also full compatibility with modules that have high heat sinks.*

100% compatibility with PCIe cards on ITX On many Intel LGA115x-based mini-ITX mainboards, the PCIe slot is located close to the 95x95mm socket zone. While larger coolers often block the slot, the 95x95mm NH-D9L guarantees full compatibility with PCIe cards - whether on ATX, microATX or ITX.

NF-A9 Premium fan The highly optimized system features Noctua's special AAO frame system as well as advanced aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels. With its efficiency further increased compared to Noctua's previous 92mm models, it contributes significantly to the superior cooling performance of the NH-D9L.

PWM support and low-noise adapter The NF-A9 92mm fan of the NH-D9L supports PWM for convenient, fully automatic speed control via the mainboard. In addition, the included low-noise adapter can reduce the maximum speed from 2000 to 1550rpm to allow even quieter operation.

Optional Dual Fan Operation The NH-D9L comes with an additional pair of fan clips. This allows a second, optionally available NF-A9 fan to be mounted on the front of the radiator for even better cooling performance. The Y-cable supplied with the optional NF-A9 PWM allows both fans to be operated and controlled on a motherboard connection.**

Compatibility with older and future sockets The NH-D9L complies with the open SecuFirm™ standard and can be made compatible with the optional NM-I3 mounting kit available free of charge from Noctua to the older sockets LGA1366 and LGA775. As far as technically possible, Noctua will also offer upgrade sets for future sockets.
