Cost-effective bipolar Hall-effect sensors in the SS50AT series in an SMD-equippable housing have a thermally balanced integrated circuit over the entire temperature range. The bipolar magnets respond to alternating north and south poles. An integrated regulator ensures stable operation at a supply voltage of 4.5-24 VDC, and an internal circuit prevents damage to the sensor if the polarity of the supply voltage has been inadvertently reversed. The cost-effective bipolar Hall-effect sensors in the SS50AT series are small and versatile digital Hall-effect devices that are driven by the magnetic field of a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. The voltage of the P-switching power output of the open collector can be easily connected with a large selection of electronic circuits.
