HiFiBerry DAC+ Zero

The HiFiBerry DAC Zero is a high-quality D/A converter for the Raspberry Pi Zero, but it also works with all newer models featuring a 40-pin GPIO connector. It was developed for budget-conscious users as an affordable alternative to the HiFiBerry DAC+ for situations where the many features of the HiFiBerry DAC+ are not needed.

Technical Features -192-kHz/24-bit D/A converter based on a Burr-Brown chip - can be connected directly to the Raspberry Pi Zero; no additional cables required - ships as a pre-assembled kit. Simply connect it to the Raspberry Pi! For the Raspberry Pi Zero, the GPIO header must be soldered on - compatible with all common Raspberry Pi models - Power comes directly from the Raspberry Pi; no power supply required - Low-noise voltage regulator - Does not include mounting hardware (i.e., spacers, 40-pin header for Raspberry Pi Zero) - No hardware-based volume control-however, most programs include volume control
