HiFiBerry MiniAmp

The HiFiBerry MiniAmp is a compact Class D amplifier for the Raspberry Pi Zero. (It also works with all newer models featuring a 40-pin GPIO connector.) Speakers are simply connected directly to the board; this makes it the ideal module for simple projects when the power of the Amp+ isn’t needed.

Technical Specifications - Up to 2 x 3 W output power - Suitable for a pair of 4-8-ohm speakers - Sampling rates: 44.1 kHz-192 kHz - Digital-to-analog conversion is built-in; no external converters or sound cards are required - Can be connected directly to the Raspberry Pi; no additional cables required - Power comes directly from the Raspberry Pi; no external power supply required - Shipped as a pre-assembled kit-simply connect it to the Raspberry Pi! For the Raspberry Pi Zero, the GPIO header must be soldered on - Low-noise voltage regulator - Does not include mounting hardware (i.e., spacers, 40-pin header for Raspberry Pi Zero) - Does not include hardware-based volume control-however, most programs include volume control
