The MCP9808 digital temperature sensors convert temperatures between -20°C and +100°C into a digital word with ± 0.5° C (max) accuracy. The MCP9808 comes with freely programmable tabs that are flexible for temperature sensor applications. The tabs give users freely selectable settings such as shutdown or low-power modes. The user has the choice of setting the polarity as an active-low or active-high output for e.g. thermostat operation.
