HERNON 746 is a thermally excellent conductive two-component adhesive with a very short curing time.

It provides an effective thermal connection between electronic components and heat sinks. The material has an extraordinary adhesive property - this eliminates the need for mechanical fastening.

The adhesive consists of a pasty adhesive 746 and a liquid activator EF37173. The components are not mixed. It is sufficient to apply a small amount of the adhesive to one of the surfaces to be bonded and paint the other surface with the activator. Joining is carried out by pressing. A correction is possible within 15-30 seconds. The adhesive is hand-tight at room temperature after 5 minutes and cures completely within 24 hours.

Instructions for use: Apply HERNON 746 adhesive sparingly to an adhesive surface. With HERNON EF37173 Activator coat the other adhesive surface thinly over the entire surface. Add parts while turning slightly back and forth and press firmly for a few seconds. The ideal processing temperature is 20 ... 28°C, within 15-30 seconds a position correction of the parts can be made.
