The Edimax ES-1008P V2 is an 8 PoE+ port Fast Ethernet switch, for use in small and medium-sized networks. Using eight DIP switches, PoE ports can be manually set via on/off control, extending PoE delivery distance up to 200 meters and supporting port-based on/off control for VLAN and QoS. PoE-enabled devices, such as WLAN access points, network cameras, and IP phones, as well as other Ethernet-enabled devices such as computers, printers, and network-attached storage (NAS) are easily connected to the network and powered through the switch. With its compact dimensions and quiet operation, the device is ideal for expanding networks at home or in small businesses.
