Designed for industrial applications, the NF-A14 industrialPPC (PPC stands for short for English) is designed for hard use and operation under difficult conditions. Protected Performance cooling) is a more robust, fast-rotating version of the award-winning retail model. Thanks to the excellent aerodynamic efficiency of the NF-A14 design and a novel three-phase motor, the industrialPPC versions with their higher speed offer true high-performance cooling, but have a moderate noise and power consumption compared to comparable fast-rotating fans. With its fiberglass-reinforced polyamide construction and extended water and dust protection, the NF-A14 industrialPPC is also suitable for use in demanding environments. At the same time, the high-quality SSO2 warehouse guarantees an MTBF of over 150,000 hours. 2000rpm industrialPPC version Thanks to the increased maximum speed to 2000rpm, the NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 offers a significant performance increase compared to the 1500rpm retail version. Together with the robust polyamide construction and the extended protection features of the industralPPC line, this makes the fan a perfect choice for demanding industrial applications.

Three-Phase Engine Design While most axial fans use single-phase motors with four anchors, Noctua's industrialPPC models use a three-phase design with six anchors that provides smoother transitions between anchors, allowing for even greater smoothness, lower vibration, and even better energy efficiency.

Leading Energy Efficiency The standard version of the NF-A14 is already one of the most energy-efficient 1500rpm 140mm fans on the market. Nevertheless, the industrialPPC version with its three-phase motor offers a further 10% lower power consumption at a 2000rpm comparison speed.

Fiberglass Reinforced Polyamide Construction Both the impeller and the frame of Noctuas industrialPPC fans are made entirely of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide. This makes the fan even more robust and shatterproof than standard Noctuas made from fiberglass-reinforced PBT.

Certified IP67 water and dust protection The motor and the PCB of the IP67 version are completely encapsulated in a special, highly heat-conductive synthetic resin, which combines comprehensive protection with effective discharge of engine waste heat. According to protection class 67, the fan is not only completely dustproof, but also waterproof to a depth of 1m.

Flow Acceleration Channels The impeller of the NF-A14 is equipped with so-called flow acceleration channels at the suction side. The acceleration of the air flow in the critical outer regions of the fan blades reduces the suction-side vortex-ablation, resulting in higher efficiency and lower turbulence-related noise emission.

Stepped Inlet Design The stepped inlet area of the causes more turbulence in the inlet. This facilitates the transition from laminar to turbulent flow, which is better attached to the frame (flow attachment) and thus increases the suction capacity of the fan, especially when the intake area is limited.

SSO2 bearings The fan is equipped with the further optimized second generation of Noctua's proven SSO storage system. At SSO2, the rear magnet sits closer to the fan axis, resulting in even better stabilization, resulting in further improved precision and durability.

Metal Bearing Shell In order to guarantee the highest possible degree of manufacturing precision, minimum tolerances and excellent long-term stability, a CNC machined bearing shell made of brass is used.

PWM IC WITH SCD The fan supports fully automatic speed control via PWM and uses Noctua's specially designed NE-FD2 chip for this purpose. This new PWM IC integrates Noctua's smooth commutation Drive (SCD) technology, which minimizes PWM switching noise and makes the fan even quieter at low speeds.
