The NF-A15 is a quiet 140mm premium fan with round AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) frame and 120mm mounting holes (105mm hole spacing). For an even higher cooling performance on current high-end CPU coolers, the width has been extended to 150mm and the NF-A15 achieves an even better silent performance compared to the award-winning NF-P14 by means of advanced aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels. Noctua's specially designed PWM IC for fully automatic speed control as well as the SSO2 reference class bearing guarantee superb smooth running and excellent long-term stability. Successor to the multiple Test winner NF-P14 Noctuas NF-P14 has become a standard solution for PC enthusiasts who require 140mm premium quality fans. By far-reaching aerodynamic optimizations, the NF-A15 achieves even higher static pressure compared to its well-known predecessor, as well as a further improved ratio of flow rate and noise emission.

Round 140mm frame with 150mm width The NF-A15 has been specially developed for use on current high-end CPU coolers: The width of 150mm corresponds to that of most current high-end heat sinks and the height of 140mm means that the fan does not protrude upwards, thus guaranteeing the best housing compatibility. The 120mm mounting holes (105mm hole spacing) make the NF-A15 an ideal upgrade for chassis or CPU fans in 120mm format.

Flow Acceleration Channels The impeller of the NF-A15 is equipped with so-called flow acceleration channels at the suction side. The acceleration of the air flow in the critical outer regions of the fan blades reduces the suction-side vortex-ablation, resulting in higher efficiency and lower turbulence-related noise emission.

Integrated Anti-Vibration Pads The anti-vibration pads, made from extra-soft silicone, reduce the transmission of minimal vibrations while being compatible with all standard mounting systems and fan clips used in CPU coolers.

SSO2 bearings The NF-A15 is equipped with the further optimized second generation of Noctua's proven SSO storage system. At SSO2, the rear magnet sits closer to the fan axis, resulting in even better stabilization, resulting in further improved precision and durability.

Metal Bearing Shell In order to guarantee the highest possible degree of manufacturing precision, minimum tolerances and excellent long-term stability, the NF-A15 uses a CNC machined bearing shell made of brass.

PWM IC WITH SCD The NF-A15 PWM supports fully automatic speed control via PWM and uses Noctua's new, specially designed NE-FD1 chip. This new PWM IC integrates Noctua's smooth commutation Drive (SCD) technology, which minimizes PWM switching noise and makes the fan even quieter at low speeds.

Low-Noise Adapter The NF-A15 PWM is supplied with a (L.N.A.) that reduces the maximum speed from 1200 to 900rpm. This allows you to operate the fan at a constant 900rpm or limit the maximum speed in PWM operation.

Comprehensive Connectivity Options While the 20cm short primary cable helps to avoid cable clutter in typical applications, the included 30cm extension provides extra range for all cases. Both cables are fully sheathed and a 4-pin Y-cable allows a second PWM fan to be controlled at the same connection.

Very low power consumption Despite its further improved performance, the power consumption of the NF-A15 is only 0.96W, which corresponds to a reduction of approx. 20% compared to the predecessor model.
